Idiots In LA Throw Waymo Passengers Into Danger
TMZ— A viral video shows a Waymo vehicle carrying passengers making a routine left turn directly into the middle of an active LAPD standoff, where officers had guns drawn around a prone suspect amid backup units and a helicopter. Instead of stopping or rerouting like a human driver might, the autonomous car continued through the scene before quickly clearing the area, and Waymo later reported the riders arrived safely. The episode joins a series of recent mishaps involving the company’s self-driving cars in Los Angeles, including run-ins with police, disruptions during protests, and even incidents where vehicles were damaged in downtown clashes.

Gulf Coast News Now— Beach goers on Fort Myers Beach were stunned to see a diaper-clad kangaroo hopping along the boardwalk on a leash, prompting Florida wildlife officials to investigate whether its owner had the required permit for the Class 3 animal. Business of Popping Corn Day
Business of Popping Corn Day is the one time a year we all pretend popcorn wasn’t invented by a bored Native American with a hot rock and too much time. It’s a tribute to the booming snack empire built on exploded corn and false optimism—because nothing says capitalism like charging eight bucks for thirty cents of fluff. Today’s about honoring the industrial pioneers who realized you can sell air if it’s loud enough. So pop a bag, salute the hustle, and try not to think about how this much noise for this little food became a business model.
